What does a treatment with acupuncture integrated with other mealing modalities look like?
1. For the first 15-30 minutes we will do a consultation and talk about where you are at on a physical, mental and spiritual level. The healing begins here as we do some digging and ferreting to explore your illness on a mind, body and spirit level. From this, I will get an idea of what organ systems and elements are out of balance and in need of work and what I am going to do with the acupuncture points and meridians and what we need to look deeper into.
2. With a little help from spirit and many years of training in Chinese Medicine and Classical Five-Element Acupuncture (click here to learn more), I will take pulses and assess potential blocks. The I will insert single use needles (or do only acupressure) to influence the Qi (Energy) in properly flowing, removing blockages and re-establishing the body's rhythm with it's natural cycles and the cycles of nature. My main intention is to be a bridge and conduit of healing during the treatment.
3. While acupuncture is doing it’s job, I do some acupressure, other Chinese Medicine modalities, reiki, and more work on a spirit level (question asking and seeking, either silently directly, for you to reflect on), to help you to address and release anything that’s holding you back from healing (Niasziih Healing Click here to learn more) Our bodies fascia, organs, bones, and muscles hold memories, beliefs and past experiences that disrupt the natural energetic flow. If your open to it and it is called for that day, I will help you to find awareness of their body in the present moment, and to acknowledge and witness how your feelings, thoughts and beliefs have a connection to your body and may be contributing to your physical illness. For a short time at the end of the treatment, you will “cook” in the room and let the healing sink in being in your own space.
No two treatments or people’s experiences will look the same. Some days will be more talking and seeking. Some days will be more reiki and acupressure, sound healing or a guided meditation. Other days you may need more alone time while I work on you in the other room.
4. Afterwards I will give you homework with may include:
